Knowing that education is key to reconciliation, we acknowledge the ongoing effects of colonisation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities and strive to teach the truth of First Nations histories to our children. We look forward to building respectful relationships with members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and hope our efforts will ensure current and future generations of Australians understand the lessons of the past, and work towards a reconciled nation.
