At Little Joeys Pre-School, our vision for reconciliation is to create a culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions are embedded in everything we do. We acknowledge the past injustices faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and commit to walking alongside community in a spirit of respect, truth-telling, and healing. We believe that by nurturing the next generation through cultural learning experiences, play, and daily practice, we are helping to grow children who are respectful, connected, and proud to celebrate the worlds oldest living cultures. Our goal is to strengthen relationships and build a shared sense of belonging, so that reconciliation is not only part of our preschool but also part of the future we are shaping together.
