At Wilcox Street Early Education Centre, our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and respect the traditions, histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our Centre will visually represent displays of respect and continue to reflect on our program, practices and learning spaces to promote equality and equity within the curriculum. We aim to engage with and form a respectful and meaningful relationship with local Elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and families. We strive to deepen our knowledge and understanding about the local area and embed authentic practices with acknowledgement and respect for country.
