Our vision is to actively respect and acknowledge the unique connection that Aboriginal people have to the Land on which our Preschool is situated, Dharawal Country and to build genuine, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Towradgi Long Day Care, values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and the contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities make to our Preschool and wider community. We are committed to continuing to develop and deepen educators, children and families understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ways of knowing and learning, and to respectfully reflecting that knowledge at all levels of our service. We will continue to foster cultural safety throughout our centre and remain dedicated to developing genuine, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities for the benefit of all children and families in our Preschool community.
