Reconciliation to Gumnut Village Preschool starts with recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the First Peoples of this land. With reconciliation comes a healthy and respectful relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider community. This includes an increased knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and contributions, as well as equity and equality in educational outcomes and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all people in Australia.
