Our vision for Reconciliation is that of a learning journey as we continue to learn and grow.  Our vision is that we believe that our part in reconciliation as early childhood education professionals is to educate the current and future generations of our community about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ traditions, cultures and ways of being.  Our vision of reconciliation is to grow alongside the children in learning more about diversity and culture and to be able to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of being into our curriculums.  We will to move towards linking more with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and ; having deeper connections, and with our community, having more of an understanding of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. culture that surrounds us and forming a connection that is authentic to where we live. We hope that through connections and further professional development, we will be able to have vision for Reconciliation that is sound and makes our community feel secure and have a sense of belonging. We would like to form the same respect for the lands, waterways, and nature within the community and understand the deep knowledge that our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait community members have to share and the commitment they have to the natural surroundings that we have.
