We at Kurri Kurri Goodstart Early Learning take reconciliation seriously and understand our responsibility to ensure future generations of Australians grows up understanding and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories. We will continue to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our centre. .
Our vision is that our Goodstart community will respectfully learn about, understand and where appropriate, teach educators, staff, families and the wider community about the Traditional Owners, the Wonnarua People as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures in general and across the board.
We come together with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, to understand and acknowledge Australia's historical events, to unite and work together with each other, to actively recognise the continuous contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. -
We at Kurri Kurri Goodstart Early Learning will ensure children are engaged in high quality, culturally responsive early childhood education in their early years.
