VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision is to create a welcoming and culturally responsive environment where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel respected and valued. We wish to create an environment that champions the rights of all First Nations peoples.

Educators in our service are supported to strive to be culturally responsive by reflecting on thier own cultural lens, respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and perspectives in learning experiences and environments and sharing the truth of Austrlia's histories and sharing knowledge into our learning experiences and environments. Our vision is for is for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous children to be active and informed members of the community with strong knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, cultures, histories and perspectives.

We pride ourselves on treating all skateholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous children, families, educators and members of the community with equality, equity and inclusion. We strive to create and build respectful and trusting relationships with the local Worimi community. We strive to learn and grow in collaboration with the local Worimi community, the Traditional Custodians of the Land, the Wormi people and with the local Aboriginal Land Council Murrook.

Our aim is to empower all Aboriginal and Torres Straight and non-Indigenous children and educators to be leaders and active participants in Australia's evolving reconcilation journey.
