Our vision is to continue fostering an environment at Salamander Early Education that promotes equality, equity, recognition, inclusiveness, and acceptance. A place to see, hear, and feel reconciliation.
We continue to create a sense of belonging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, children, families, and visitors within our Centre and community through respectful, trusting relationships, and recognising the true histories and contributions of Australia’s First Peoples.
We strive to continuously increase our knowledge and understanding of Australia’s First Nations peoples and histories so that we can respectfully and authentically embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, perspectives, histories, and knowledges into our learning environment and experiences, and daily practices.
As allys, we work to empower our learning community to become leaders and advocates in Australia’s evolving reconciliation journey.
