Jumping Jacks Community Pre-School

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Jumping Jacks Community preschool welcomes all cultures and embraces the rich diversity that families bring to our learning community. We foster a sense of belonging by working in partnership with each family to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

Our vision is to create a safe and respectful environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families feel welcome to join our community. By collaborating with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, knowledge holders and Aboriginal consultative organisations we hope to foster positive relationships between cultures by strengthening our own knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions. As part of our developing reconciliation action plan we will be committed to learning genuine and meaningful ways of embedding culturally appropriate programs and experiences into our daily curriculum.
