We at Jumping Jacks, would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land that our Preschool is situated on, the Awabakal People and thank them for sharing their continuing knowledge of their Land with us. We will respect the nature, the animals and the people on this Land as we deepen our knowledge and understanding of reconciliation. Jumping Jacks Community Preschool's vision is to continue to create a safe and respectful environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and educators feel welcome. We will foster positive relationships between our PreSchool community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through continuing to strengthen our own knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, diverse perspectives and cultures. We are committed to interweaving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our daily curriculum in genuine and meaningful ways.
