Adamstown Preschool holds a vision for reconciliation where we can build and strengthen meaningful relationships between our preschool and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community. We also seek to further our relationship with the Awabakal People, who are the Traditional Owners of the Land our preschool resides on. We will encourage educators, children and families to learn and further their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander true histories and the injustices that have occurred. It is only then that we can move forward towards reconciliation and raise awareness, equality and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
