At Fairyland Preschool we are dedicated to building trusting and respectful relationships between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the children, staff, families and communities.
We strive to value, embrace, nurture and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and all individuals' cultural identities, languages and values. We will ensure that we create an environment that makes everyone feel welcome, included, supported, and a sense of belonging at Fairyland Preschool.
We acknowledge the histories of First Nations People and strive for a future of understanding, truth telling, respect and reconciliation.
We will continue to provide children, staff, families and the wider community with culturally respectful experiences that deepen their knowledge and understandings of the histories, cultures and perspectives of the First Peoples of Australia. We will foster an environment of acceptance, equality, and equity.
We will provide Educators with meaningful experiences and undertake professional development opportunities to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures and uniting as one at Fairyland Preschool.
