Our vision for reconciliation at Erina Kindergarten is to continue to build respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians and building a national culture that represents equality and equity, historical acceptance of our shared history and removal of negative race relations and ideas.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We all belong, and at Erina Kindergarten we provide children with a range of learning experiences in a respectful way which enhances childrens knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and heritages. We encourage a connectedness to First Nations Peoples within our centre and broader community, maintaining positive relationships and links to the Darkinyung people. We will continue to respectfully embedded these perspectives throughout our centres philosophy, curriculums, experiences and daily routines.
