At Kids Academy Springfield, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land through respectfully including First Nation perspectives into our everyday practice. We will provide children opportunities to learn about the importance of reconciliation and what it means to First Nations peoples and the wider community.
We believe that early education on reconciliation is vital to building a reconciled future and connecting our community as a whole. Children and the wider community should learn to respect our county's heritage and respect and acknowledge Australia's First Nations People as the Traditional Custodians of the Land.
Educating children early about reconciliation involves teaching about the cultures and histories of t First Nations Peoples, so that they can build an understanding of the importance of reconciliation.
Reconciliation to us, means creating a stronger future without bias or prejudice, but not forgetting the past.
