We believe that reconciliation starts with acknowledging and respecting the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It's about creating a society where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are actively heard, valued, and included in decision-making processes. It's also important to address the colonial injustices of the past and work towards healing and restoring relationships between wider Australian society and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Education plays a crucial role in reconciliation, as it helps to promote the understanding of, empathy for, and appreciation ofr Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures. By fostering meaningful partnerships and supporting First Nations-led initiatives, we strive to play our part in shaping a future of equality, equity, respect, and unity for all.
