Our vision for reconciliation is to create a strong, harmonious, and richer community by sharing our learnings from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their heritages and cultures whilst ensuring the traditions, customs, and stories of First Nations peoples are valued. We will engage with reconciliation through the Narragunnawali RAP Framework: •Relationships: Building positive, respectful and meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, communities, and centre community. •Respect: Recognising the unique status of the Gadigal and Eora Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and actively promoting reconciliation and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and heritages throughout our community. •Opportunities: Contributing to closing the gap in education outcomes between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Aboriginal members of the community. Our vision is that we provide a program that recognises, reflects and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions. We aim to continue to learn about and develop our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to share our learnings with children in a meaningful way. We will provide a culturally safe environment for First Nations families and create the space for their involvement in our program, whilst providing children and families with a positive appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. .
