VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At First Grammar Hammondville, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in building and nurturing respectful and meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities—especially the Traditional Custodians of this Land, the Darug and Tharawal Nations. We are committed to fostering a shared understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and connections to Country among our educators, children, families, and visitors. Through continuous learning and open dialogue, we aim to walk the path of reconciliation together—deepening our respect, building equity, and honouring the voices and contributions of First Nations peoples. Our shared purpose is to create a culturally responsive and inclusive environment, where actions—not just words—guide us in raising children who are respectful, curious, and compassionate citizens, actively contributing to a reconciled and united future.
