Our vision for reconciliation at Munchkin Manor Greystanes is to create a culturally safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives are valued and embedded within everyday practice. We aspire to support reconciliation by building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities and by strengthening our understanding and respect for the worlds oldest continuing cultures. Through our educational program, we aim to nurture childrens curiosity, respect and appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their connection to country and their rich cultural knowledge. We are committed to ongoing learning, reflection and collaboration to ensure that reconciliation is actively demonstrated through our teaching practices, community engagement and organisational values. By working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities, we strive to contribute to equitable and inclusive educational outcomes for all children. Our vision is for children to grow up with a strong sense of respect, empathy and shared responsibility, supporting a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all Australians walk together in understanding, respect and unity.
