At Integricare Kinder Kapers Preschool, we are committed to fostering reconciliation and recognising the Dharug People as the Original Custodians of the Land on which our preschool is located.
Our vision is built on recognising the enduring connection that Dharug people have with the Land and acknowledging their ongoing role in its care..We will authentically incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum and daily learning experiences.
We will provide opportunities to support our educators in deepening their understandings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' perspectives, pedagogies, and ways of life, fostering cultural responsiveness within our preschool. Through nurturing respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community, we will build a mutual understanding and work in collaboration to stregthen reconciliation in our community.
