At St Dunstans Preschool, our vision for reconciliation first and foremost is always acknowledging the Land on which we stand, the importance of learning to care for Country and providing the next generation with age-appropriate Truth telling and education around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories. We understand the importance of all our staff beginning to conduct their own learning journeys to best facilitate the education of our children, recognising that delving into the truth of Australia's history both past and present can be confronting and uncomfortable for many but necessary to move towards the ongoing journey of reconciliation.
