VISION FOR RECONCILIATION
At Rainbow Street Early Learning Centre, we acknowledge the cultural heritages and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with the aim of passing this knowledge to future generations for a better understanding of their home. We wish to weave and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our play and environment in meaningful ways.
We strive to ensure that our community and service interactions are built on respect, diversity, and understanding. We aim to foster a sense of belonging and connectedness, strengthening the relationship between our service and people in our community with diverse ethnicities. We work to support the identity and sense of self for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
