The Montessori East community vision for reconciliation is to continue to deepen our understanding of the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we gather today. Our journey towards reconciliation continues with maintaining a school community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 'cultures are visually and orally present, recognised, honoured, and respectfully embedded throughout our school. While our journey begins within the micro community of our school, we acknowledge that true reconciliation will require building and maintaining respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people and community.
