Our vision for reconciliation is that all Australians are united in their understanding and celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples. We want Australia to be a country where Elders past, present and future are valued for their knowledge and insightful lens on the way they connect and engage with the Land. We want Australia to be a country where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples will feel connected, valued and treated with the utmost respect by all. As a company serving the Centennial Park community, we wish to work respectfully alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations to ensure our curriculums are culturally appropriate. In our role of educating the very young, we envision an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and all children, are rising up to be inspirational leaders teaching the next generations and beyond. We aim to learn about and respectfully share words from the Gadigal language, so the children feel even more connected to the local Aboriginal community. Every day the children in our care will see First Nations learning resources that engage meaningful and authentic teaching about First Nations cultures.
