VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for Reconciliation is a process of building respectful connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and the broader Australian community, based on truth, justice, equity, integrity, forgiveness, healing and reparation. We are committed to building on the strengths of all Australians and to take actions to achieve mutual understanding, respect & reconciliation.   It is important to address the truth about the histories and present inequalities and discrimination towards First Nations peoples and to develop pathways of reconciliation. It is important for us to understand the past and how our present actions will impact the future.  We do this by being culturally responsive through ongoing learnings and reflections and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, cultures and communities through daily hands on learning experiences.
