VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Albany Secondary Education Support Centre (ASESC) is committed to building a learning environment that acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Islander peoples, cultures, perspectives and traditions. This Reconciliation Action Plan represents our commitment to continue fostering new knowledge and relationships in the local community and beyond. We believe that by working together, we can build a community that is educated on, and respectful of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and rights.

Our vision embodies our commitment to reconciliation and meaningful engagement with First Nations peoples. It also provides opportunities to further upskill our school community, deepening understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, knowledges and cultures.

At ASESC we will strive to create a culturally inclusive and supportive environment that fosters unity between First Nation peoples and non-Indigenous peoples within the school community and the wider community.
