Palmyra Primary School’s vision is to respectfully engage our school community in striving for reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and other Australians.
We wish to make a difference by using critical questioning skills and finding the courage to challenge attitudes, assumptions and actions that lead to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people being treated unfairly.
We aim to better understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and learn more about the Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar that we are on by respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our curriculum.
