The Kiara College Community is on a journey of reconciliation. Our vision is for a just and united society where: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are valued, celebrated, acknowledged and understood. Relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are based on trust, respect and truth telling to promote positive outcomes. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equality and equity of access to educational opportunities. The atrocities, traumas and adversities experienced by First Nations peoples are acknowledged and we engage in reconciliation to ensure they are never repeated. We commit to creating a safe and supportive environment in which we can work collaboratively to achieve our vision.
