Moerlina School's vision for reconciliation is for our school and wider community to acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands, peoples, cultures and traditions.
We will embrace truth telling and knowledge sharing and have an open heart to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and being, to enjoy all the richness that this brings.
We will continue to build and strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and peoples and care for Whadjuck Noongar boodjar on which our school sits. We will embed culture and practice as guided by Traditional Knowledge holders and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander enterprises.
We will ensure respect for all cultures, promote acceptance, and stand together against racism.
This is an ongoing and dynamic commitment to reconciliation.
