At St Mary's we recognise the long and strong histories that  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have in this area where we live and learn. We strive to understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples relationship with the Land and to learn from their incredible knowledge of the Land and its inhabitants. Showing respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' histories, cultures and traditions is important to the culture of our school.  We are dedicated to promoting pride in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander their cultures and heritages in our students.
