Beaudesert State School’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) will help our school community to continue to build a culturally safe and responsive community of practice, improve upon appropriate practices, and strengthen relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities in our school community. Beaudesert State School understands that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians is the responsibility of all non-Indigenous Australians. We recognise the significance of belonging for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and all children, for them to grow and reach their potential at our school. Our vision is to provide leadership to others in supporting relationships that are respectful, welcoming, and inclusive for all families, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a school community, we know that we are 'better together' and this will drive journey towards reconciliation.
