Our vision for reconciliation is guided by our School Vision of a community built on knowledge, truth and love, where we come together each day to Know More, Do More and Be More. Grounded in our Catholic faith and belief that all people are created in the image and likeness of God, we are committed to fostering understanding, respect and meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We acknowledge the truths of Australia's shared histories and the ongoing impacts of these injustices, and we seek to respond with humility, compassion and action. We strive to respect every individuals identity, dignity and and sense belonging for all people within our school community. In recognising that learning is lifelong, life-giving and engages the whole person, St Rita's aspires to educate and form our entire community to participate authentically in faith, life and culture, and to actively contribute to a more just and reconciled Australia.
