Wodonga West Children's Centre believe the rich and diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and experiences should be valued and engaged in by all.
Therefore, our vision for reconciliation is for Wodonga West Children's Centre to be an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and culturally safe for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their families, and the wider community. An environment in which we aim to support every student to engage with truth, justice, and healing through reconciliation through respectful relationships with First Nations community members and our centre community. An environment in which both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous students have equal and equitable opportunities to achieve their potential and feel strong in their cultural identity.
