At Henderson College we understand that reconciliation is the responsibility of all Australians. We acknowledge the Latji Latji and Barkindji People as the Traditional Owners of the Land upon which our school is built, and with their guidance we seek to further our appreciation of their Custodianship of the Land so that we may tread lightly in unison.
Our vision is to create a learning community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s perspectives, cultures, histories and contributions are valued and recognised as part of our shared national identity. Our school aims to build positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and we are committed to respectfully walking, sharing and celebrating together as a community where everyone is valued and belongs, for generations to come.
