Our vision for reconciliation is built upon respect, understanding and genuine partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We envisage a future where the wounds of the past are acknowledged and healed, where cultural diversity is celebrated and treated equally and equitably and where Australia's First People's wisdom and knowledges are honoured and integrated into every aspect of school and society.
In this future there will be equality and equity in opportunities, with a focus on wellbeing for all, regardless of cultural background. We aspire to create a school where the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are heard and valued, and their rights are upheld, and their aspirations are respectfully supported.
Through meaningful dialogue, collaboration and mutual respect, we envision a society where the injustices of the past and the continue impacts that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are acknowledged and together, we forge a path forward towards reconciliation, healing and unity.
Our commitment is unwavering, to work tirelessly towards a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures are preserved, revitalised and celebrated and where every individual feels a deep sense of belonging and connection to this Land, we all call home.
