VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Recognition that the First Peoples of Australia are the Custodians of the worlds oldest, richest living cultures has long been at the heart of Ballarat Grammar. We will build and maintain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, providing opportunities for local First Nations voices to inform our reconciliation journey.

More than just committing to reconciliation, Ballarat Grammar commits to recognising the rich and diverse cultural histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, through respectfully embedding this throughout our School, classrooms and community.

Our reconciliation journey begins with fostering meaningful relationships between the school, the wider community and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and ensuring a culturally safe environment for all members of our School.
