We at Doncaster Gardens Primary School recognise and acknowledge the First Nations Peoples of Australia. We aim to foster a sense of community, connection and respect towards all cultures and people, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Our vision is to create a culturally safe environment for everyone, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and actively work towards treating everyone equally and equitably. We aim to celebrate each other's differences and advocate for change through ongoing self-reflection. We aim to take agency by connecting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our local community to deepen our understanding of First Nations histories and cultures.
We value and celebrate the multiculturalism of our school and will protect our harmonious learning environments. This will be actioned by continuing to cultivate a respectful environment for everyone, including First Nations children, families, educators and community members, by learning about reconciliation through education,
