VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Mulyan Public School is committed to making a difference through building relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, teachers, communities, organisations, and the broader Australian community. We are dedicated to investing in learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural knowledge and are committed to respectfully fostering and embedding Wiradjuri and Yindyamarra practices within our school community when approaching all elements of our work and education. Walking together, always as one, our aim is to create a system based on trust, respect, strength and admiration for Australia’s First Nations peoples. We embrace reconciliation in pursuance of ongoing healing of our nation. We strive to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our school to provide opportunities for all students to connect with culture and to celebrate diverse cultural identities.
