Our vision for Reconciliation at Tathra Public School is to celebrate, embrace and respectfully support opportunities to carry on the culture, heritage and stories of the First Nations people from this Land on which our school stands.
We live, learn and play here on Djiringanj Country and we are committed to fostering respectful engagement with the local Djiringani community so that we can strengthen the ways in which we educate our students, teachers and the wider school community about Australia’s true histories, with a focus on local histories and cultures.
We will continue to build and maintain strong relationships with the local Aboriginal community so that we can move forward and be stronger together as a community.
