Primbee Public School's vision for reconciliation involves acknowledging historical injustices and building understanding between non-Indigenous Australians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for healing, cultural preservation, and social equality, aiming to create an inclusive, respectful, and harmonious community. In our school context, this vision will be achieved through cultural awareness learning for children, incorporating First Nations culture, histories, and contributions. The respectful involvement of local First Nations communities and Elders is vital for our reconciliation journey. Learning the local histories of the Primbee area, and of Dharawal country, while forming genuine relationships with Elders will allow our school community to value their knowledge and resilience.
