At Glendore Public School, our vision for reconciliation is to educate our school community on gaining an understanding of and empathy and the importance of these ideas in reconciliation.
We will embrace truth-telling and encourage acceptance by explicitly teaching students about Australia’s true history from all perspectives. We will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander pedagogies into all teaching and learning programs. Our vision for reconciliation is to build meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and for all staff, students and community members to contribute to a united country, in which all our students can live in harmony and peace.
