We at Narrabeen Sports High School continue to engage actively in reconciliation by promoting the five dimensions of reconciliation within our school and wider community. We acknowledge that our school is founded upon the Lands belonging to the Traditional Owners who have continued to learn and teach on this fertile coastal environment for thousands of years.
We value the respectful relationships we are building between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. We acknowledge the shared responsibility of non-Indigenous people in reconciliation and promote equal and equitable educational outcomes and opportunities for all students. As a school community we promote recognition, understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories and contributions.
We will do this through celebrating and strengthening the opportunities for partnerships and relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our teaching and learning will promote harmony and understanding of the principles of reconciliation.
