Our Vision for Reconciliation at Lane Cove Public School is to provide vast and varied opportunities to increase respect and strengthen relationships between the school community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We aim for these values to be deeply embedded in our teaching and learning practices across all curriculum areas, through rich and continuing partnerships with local Aboriginal families, the local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and the City Country Alliance (CCA).
We aim to provide an inclusive and supportive environment demonstrates a shared and active appreciation of the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cutures, Histories and continuing contributions, through the provision of an environment which is conducive to the development and improvement of student engagement and numeracy/literacy results amongst our Aboriginal student population.
Education and social awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures for all stakeholders is reinforced through our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence.
