Currambena's Vision for Reconciliation is centred around actively acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and expressing gratitude to the Traditional Custodians for their care of the Land on which we operate, play and learn. Our aim is to further our reconciliation journey by providing programs and learning environments that support children's understanding of and respect for the ongoing cultures, heritages, beliefs, and deep connections with the Land held by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and communities. Currambena holds an active commitment to an inclusive program that demonstrates respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through our play and learning goals, we strive to foster kindness, empathy, and respect amongst children, staff, families, and the wider community. Together, we aspire to embrace reconciliation and be allys as we navigate our way through our reconciliation journey with adaptability and being reflective of our growth.
