Reconciliation Resource – Subject Guides

To usher in the new school year, and support you in your curriculum planning, the Narragunnawali team has developed a suite of subject-specific resource guides spanning across all learning areas! The guides provide a platform for teachers and educators to reflect on, and strengthen their own approach to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions in a truly cross-curricula sense.

Download the resource guide for your teaching area:

- Civics and Citizenship

- Dance

- Drama

- Economics and Business

- English

- Geography

- Health and Physical Education

- History

- Languages

- Mathematics

- Media Arts

- Music

- Science

- Technologies

- Visual Arts

These guides are intended to act as prompts to consider the wide range of resources available and importantly, to then conduct a localised review of which resources are most relevant and meaningful for the local community. Teachers and educators are encouraged to carefully evaluate classroom resources and to collaborate with their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

As with all Narragunnawali resources, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any thoughts, feedback or ideas. We’d love to hear your recommendations for any further resources we can include within the subject-specific guides.
