Developing a Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Is your school or early learning service looking to develop a Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)? This online workshop provides a guided walkthrough of the Narragunnawali RAP development process, from drafting through to publication. This workshop is for schools and early learning services that are developing a Narragunnawali RAP for the first time. Register for this workshop if you are contributing to the RAP development process for your school or service. This facilitated and interactive workshop steps participants through the Narragunnawali RAP development process.
You will reflect and connect with colleagues from other schools and services and, by the end the workshop, you will understand:
- How to navigate the Narragunnawali platform
- The Narragunnawali RAP framework and the lifecycle of a RAP
- The key steps involved when developing a Narragunnawali RAP
- The resources available to support the development and implementation of your RAP
Registration information:
This interactive workshop is priced at $200.00 per person and is limited to 25 participants. Participants are encouraged to take notes and share your learnings and reflections with other colleagues and RAP Working Group members after the session.
Reconciliation Australia is a NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Recognised Provider of professional learning. In all states and territories time spent engaging in this professional learning workshop can be added to your Elective Professional Development hours under the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Please check the professional development guidelines with the Teacher Accreditation Regulatory Body in your state or territory.

- This is an interactive workshop, participants will require a device with a working camera and microphone. We request that there is 1 person per device to support engagement within Breakout Rooms and discussions
- Workshops are not recorded and conversational content is not shared after the session date
- Certificates of participation are provided when requested via email ([email protected]) after the workshop. Certificates can be used as evidence of professional development

Refreshing a Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Is your school or early learning service due to refresh its Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)? This online workshop unpacks the annual Narragunnawali RAP refresh process of reflecting on, reviewing, updating and re-publishing your RAP. This workshop is for schools and early learning services undertaking the Narragunnawali annual RAP refresh process. Register for this workshop if you are contributing to the RAP refresh process for your school/service. This facilitated and interactive workshop steps participants through the Narragunnawali RAP refresh process.
You will reflect and connect with colleagues from other schools and services and, by the end the workshop, you will understand:
- The expectations and steps involved in the RAP refresh process
- How to extend on and deepen whole-school/service reconciliation commitments
- How to stay accountable and measure RAP progress
- The resources available to support the refresh process at your school/service

Learn and Connect
Learn and Connect is a professional learning opportunity designed to support education and training professionals who are responsible for building confidence and capability in reconciliation in education practice across the sector.
This offering deepens the education sector’s overall understanding of the Narragunnawali program, platform and Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) while creating a community of practice to support personal and professional reconciliation journeys.
Learn and Connect is designed for professionals who work across the education system, such as:
- Education departments
- Peak bodies and national and state/territory-based organisations
- Education service providers
- Sector organisations supporting schools and early learning services.

Through a facilitated virtual 3 hour workshop participants will:
- Unpack the frameworks: Gain a holistic understanding of the Narragunnawali program’s vision, goals, and primary objectives as well as the purpose and structure of both organisation and school and service RAPs.
- Align dimensions: Learn how to align the five dimensions of reconciliation with strategic educational goals.
- Navigate the platform: Understand the purpose and structure of the Narragunnawali platform to better support education networks.
- Influence change: Identify spheres of influence and opportunities for impact.
- Collaborate & network: Engage in reflective discussions, shared learning and practical examples within a community of practice with peers across the education and training sector.
Learn and Connect is more than a workshop – guided by a supportive workbook, it's an ongoing community of practice. Following the workshop, participants are invited to join Connect sessions where we will:
- Share progress on goals
- Discuss challenges and opportunities
- Exchange ideas and strategies
- Receive updates and insights from the Narragunnawali team.
