At Leaping Learners Appin, our vision for a reconciled Australia is one which respect and embraces Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, perspectives and histories. We believe that in order to live harmoniously, we as a country and as individuals must accept past actions, along with acknowledging our actions in the present.
Reconciliation in our centre is a commitment of building and sharing on our cultural knowledge, by providing and planning experiences and embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our centre to broaden the children, families and educators' knowledge of Australia's First Nations people.
