Our vision for reconciliation is to create a nurturing, vibrant and connected community that welcomes all its members and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. We want to work closely with children, educators, stakeholders, partners and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to make reconciliation a reality and visible in our centre.
Our service will continue to be authentic in its facilitating of meaningful opportunities for children to experience and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and perspectives to ensure that a positive and inclusive message is supported. We support children in developing the ability to see the world through multiple perspectives, building a culture of mutual respect.
Our centre envisions creating a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture and histories is embedded in the curriculum.
