Little Monkey’s is founded on a vision of giving children the best possible start in life through access to quality Early Learning, our purpose is to ensure all children have the learning development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life. We recognise and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our service is offered.

Little Monkey’s is committed to embedding a respectful Reconciliation Action Plan to continue to Strengthen our relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and to ensure Indigenous heritage and cultures are respected, acknowledged and understood for future generations to learn.

Our vision is to create a sense of belonging within our service and ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, staff, all children and community feel a sense of connection to our Early Learning.

Our vision is to establish reciprocal relationships with local Elders, enabling them to become valued members of our service, program and community, to work in partnership with staff to help support our environments and teachings.

Our vision is to create a space where all children are taught respect, tolerance, and inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and histories..

Our vision is to ensure we support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators to succeed in all aspects of their career. We are committed to acknowledging the pain and loss Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians have been subjected to and we are focused on doing our part to rebuild broken relationships and create a better future for all.

Our vision is to engage with reconciliation on both a personal and professional level, creating conditions that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social justice, equality and equity.
