Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre envisions inclusive reconciliation that reflects a respectful and meaningful understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ histories, contributions and cultures.
We will build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples that are strengthened through ongoing conversations and trust, ensuring community connections of Local Country are built on mutual respect.
Building our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives through our teaching and learning programs will help support students, staff and the wider community to engage in reconciliation. Local Country will be embedded in all our teaching programs.
