VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Tallebudgera Outdoor and Environmental Education Centre, we believe that understanding and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' histories, cultures, knowledges and ways of being are critical to the social, physical, emotional and spiritual health of all Australians.

We are deeply committed to the journey of reconciliation through partnership with the people of the Yugambeh Language Region and the wider community by coming together in a culturally responsive space that promotes respect, awareness, equity, equity, and wellbeing for all.

It is our vision to embody reconciliation by authentically embedding First Nations peoples' wisdom in our curriculum meaningfully in inspirational and transformative ways for all students, teachers and the wider community.

We will continue to seek partnerships with, celebrate and value the enduring knowledge and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as we walk together towards a future that is socially and ecologically just.
